Group Lessons
Group lessons are determined by age and ability of the students. We aim to group students in a similar age range.
We accept violin and viola students age 4 and up, cello ages 6 and up.
term 1 is for absolute beginners, or little to no experience with string instruments.
Group lesson sizes are between 2 and 4 students and meet once a week for 45 minutes.
Group lessons are scheduled in 6 week intervals. After the 6 weeks, students if students wish to continue (we hope so!) they can enroll with the next round of group lessons or enroll in private lessons with us. Just send us an email!
Group lesson Tuition:
- $40.00 per Session ($240 for 6 weeks, payment plans available)
- One time registration fee of $20 which covers the book and rented materials needed for class (students enrolling in group class for a second term and on don’t need to pay for the registration fee again).
All Beginner Violin students: If your child is interested in lessons but the cost of an instrument is holding your family back, please reach out to be put on our instrument rental waitlist. We are slowley collecting instruments for this purpose.
Allergies: Please note our studio location is our home and we have a friendly cat, he usually keeps to himself in the other room unless he has a rare moment of musical inspiration. If you have a cat allergy please consider in-home lessons or, for group lessons, let us know and we’ll see if we can find a local location.
