Private Lessons
Private lessons are held at 30, 45, and 60 minute interval.
-all beginner private students start with 30 minute and grows as the amount of music and practice time grows (usually entering the intermediate stage, discussed with family).
Please note attendance of a caregiver is required for all students under the age of 18.
- Students under 12 years old- caregiver is an active participant and is asked to take notes for the student and family (depending on the child and their needs) They are welcome to ask questions when appropriate. Tea can always be prepared for these caregivers too!
- Students over 13 years old- caregiver can relax in our home library or have a cup of tea. We strongly believe that a student can have their family near and the student still be an independent learner. Typically there is no parent participation for these students, just a touch base at the beginning and end of the lesson. It can be a great moment at the end and after the lesson to discuss goals, how your child is feeling, and have time of musical connection.
